TapBoard web app

A digital tap list with smart temperature and pressure monitoring.

Back

Nautilis TapBoard is a web application for displaying your drink selection on a TV, monitor, tablet, or mobile phone. It is designed for pubs, bars, breweries, events, and home kegerator setups that want a professional way to show what is currently on tap, while also monitoring important technical data such as temperature and pressure.
Unlike a standard digital menu, Nautilis TapBoard can work together with Nautilis devices. This turns it into much more than a tap list: it can display live sensor data, show measurement history, provide temperature graphs, and trigger alarms when something moves outside the desired range.

A Digital Tap List For Any Screen

TapBoard lets you show your drink menu on a TV, monitor, tablet, or phone. Each TapBoard has its own public display link that can be opened without logging in, making it ideal for a screen in a bar, taproom, brewery, or event space.

The display automatically adapts to the number of taps, screen size, and text length. With fewer taps, the cards are larger and more detailed. With more taps, the display automatically splits into multiple pages. Page transitions are smooth, and a subtle progress bar at the bottom shows how long remains before the next page.

On mobile devices, TapBoard is shown as a clean vertical list with full descriptions and detailed information.

Information For Each Tap

For every tap, you can add and display:

  • beer or drink name
  • brewery or producer
  • drink style
  • description
  • ABV
  • IBU
  • one or more prices
  • currency
  • accent line color
  • QR or web link for more information
  • display order
  • active/inactive status

All information can be managed through a simple web interface and appears immediately on the display.

Nautilis Devices As A Key Advantage

The biggest difference compared to ordinary digital tap lists is the ability to connect Nautilis devices. When TapBoard is used with a Nautilis device, it can show real sensor data such as temperature and pressure directly on the relevant tap card.

This gives the user both an attractive public tap display and practical technical monitoring in one system.

This is especially useful for:

  • monitoring beer or chamber temperature
  • tracking pressure in the system
  • supervising kegerators, keezers, and cooling equipment
  • quickly checking whether equipment is working correctly
  • spotting potential issues before they affect serving quality

TapBoard can also be used without devices as a standalone digital tap list, but its full value becomes clear when it is connected to Nautilis hardware.

Temperature And Pressure Display

When a tap is linked to a Nautilis device, temperature and pressure can be displayed directly on the card. The information is shown clearly and discreetly, without taking attention away from the drink itself.

The system also checks whether sensor data is fresh. If a device has not sent new data for a while, TapBoard does not show old values as if they were current. Instead, it marks the sensor as offline, helping avoid misleading information.

Temperature Graphs And Data History

When used with Nautilis devices, the system can show measurement history and temperature graphs. This helps users understand how their setup behaves over time.

Graphs are useful for:

  • monitoring temperature stability
  • spotting deviations
  • analyzing cooling equipment performance
  • checking changes throughout the day
  • identifying potential cooling issues more easily

This turns TapBoard from a simple menu display into a useful quality and equipment monitoring tool.

Alarm Notifications

One of the most important features when using Nautilis devices is alarm notification. The system can alert the user when temperature or pressure moves outside the configured limits.

Alarms help users notice problems in time, before they lead to poor serving quality, warm beer, pressure drops, or equipment issues.

Depending on configuration, alarms can be used for:

  • temperature too low or too high
  • pressure too low or too high
  • device or system issues
  • situations that require quick attention

This is especially valuable for professional users because TapBoard is not only a display, but also an active monitoring system.

Device Management

Each user can have Nautilis devices assigned to their account. Devices connect to the application using secure tokens, and the administrator can manage devices, users, and access.

Users can see their assigned devices in the web interface and use them when linking sensor data to taps. One device can be used for one or multiple taps, depending on the setup.

This is an important part of the system because it connects TapBoard to real physical equipment, not only manually entered menu data.

QR Code For Guests

Each TapBoard can generate a QR code that links to the public tap list. The QR code can be printed and placed on tables, at the bar, on menus, or on promotional materials.

Guests can scan the code and open the current tap list on their phone without installing an app.

Logo And Visual Identity

A venue, brewery, or brand logo can be added to the display, helping the TapBoard match the visual identity of the space. If no logo is uploaded, that part of the display remains clean and unobtrusive.

Each tap can also have its own accent line color, making the list easier to scan visually.

User And Admin Interface

The system supports user accounts and an administrator interface. The administrator can manage users, TapBoards, and devices, while users can manage their own tap lists.

Users can add and edit taps, prices, descriptions, logos, display order, and other information without technical knowledge.

Public Display Without Login

The public display link can be opened without logging in, making it practical for a TV or monitor in a venue. The administration area remains protected, while guests only see the public tap list.

Who Nautilis TapBoard Is For

Nautilis TapBoard is designed for:

  • pubs
  • bars
  • craft breweries
  • restaurants with draft beverage selections
  • festivals and events
  • taprooms
  • home kegerators and keezers
  • beverage distributors
  • users who want a digital tap list with equipment monitoring

Conclusion

Nautilis TapBoard is a modern solution for displaying draft beverage selections and monitoring serving equipment. It can be used as a simple digital tap list, but when combined with Nautilis devices, it becomes an advanced system for tracking temperature, pressure, graphs, and alarms.

This combination of an attractive guest-facing display and technical monitoring for the operator is what makes Nautilis TapBoard different from ordinary digital menus. It is not just a screen with a list of drinks. It is a tool that helps keep the offer clear, up to date, professionally presented, and technically under control.
